Easter 2021: Parish music project
Following the success of our Christmas 2020 virtual music project, we are now launching a music project for Easter 2021. We would like to encourage parish involvement in either of the following areas:
- Singing – recording yourself sing to the backing track
- Playing an instrument – record yourself performing a piece then send it in!
Anyone is welcome to sing with the choir. There is music and backing tracks available at: https://stmarysthemount.co.uk/category/choir. The music we will be singing is:
- Jesus Christ has risen today
- Thine be the glory
Music is a great way of bringing people together and improving mental health – especially in the current circumstances. Therefore, we would encourage as many of you to take part as possible!
Please note:
– If you are under 18 years of age, your parent will need to fill out the consent form attached.
– Please read the recording instructions
– The deadline for submitting recordings is Wednesday 24th March 2021.
If you cannot record yourself:
No one should be left out because they struggle with technology. If this is you, a recording session will be available on Saturday 20th March at 2pm in the parish hall.
