Dear Friends in Jesus Christ,
I am grateful to everyone as we have done our farewell to Very Rev. Can. Peter Taylor.
We are grateful to the Lord and to Birmingham archdiocese for sending him to our parish. I thank Archbishop Bernard Longley for doing the funeral rites, all the priests and deacons and friends of Canon Taylor across the diocese and the country. I thank all the parishioners and friends of Canon Taylor for their messages and prayers and also for tuning in and joining at the funeral liturgy remotely. I thank Fr. Rionelle for all his technical help in live streaming it. I also thank the Dean Harper Funeral Directors for organising the funeral so beautifully.
We are looking forward to a Memorial Mass for Canon to remember him and thank the Lord when it is safe to gather together to which everyone will be invited.
It is certain that Canon Taylor is with God and we have the privilege to ask his intercession in our prayers and needs.
